After 6 months, it's finally happened!

Yes, it has finally happened! David felt the baby move? No. Our insurance company has decided to cover whatever we want? No. Something much more important: when my hair dried today, it had body and volume! I have finally achieved "pregnancy hair" or as close as I am going to get to it. The photo doesn't look like much, I know, but that's as voluminous as my "stick-straight-and-needs-baby-rubber-bands-because-it-so-thin-and-even-then-you-can-wrap-them-three-times" hair gets. Next on the list: radiantly glowing skin.

As for the baby, 25 weeks down, 15 more to go. S/he is becoming more active every day. S/he also clearly loves cats; whenever Maxwell "makes biscuits" on the outside of my belly, the baby makes them at the same time on the inside. I have been feeling great and there's not much else to report. David and I have been spending lots of time outside playing Bocce ball, going to the beach, and watching polo matches, which we've really come to enjoy. It is The Sport of Lords because it is definitely the coolest sport ever; people run after each other on horseback with giant mallets in their hands.

And, the latest belly shot.

You look fabulous Liv! The hair was by far my favorite part of the whole experience. Kidding. So are you loving pregnancy now that you are feeling well? Hope you both are doing well and I hope hope hope Mass. gets rid of their wacky anti-breastfeeding ways before your little one arrives. Take care.

The "hair volume" picture is so sassy. Pregnancy hormones have definitely increased the Delta Burke sass levels.
