Sandwich Heritage Museum and Gardens

Standing in front of the infinity fountain at the Sandwich Heritage Museum and Gardens

The museum was actually a campus of buildings with botanical gardens in between. One of the largest buildings housed the car museum. Avonlea Jane liked looking at the cars, because they were all like Chitty-chitty-bang-bang.

The first presidential car

Someone was having a lady bug type of day

It was interesting to see how much the cars cost at the time (ex: $20,000) versus the average yearly salary at the time (ex: $2,000).

In the middle of the campus was a large fairy village in a valley filled with kids' activities.

Different activity stations were build into the natural landscape, and Avonlea Jane was thrilled to explore.

(These are not her appliance drawings, but she did dictate them.)

The carousel museum

Everyone had a ride (or three)
