Thanksgiving

After our trip to Plymouth, Avonlea Jane was excited about Thanksgiving. She helped to prepare by coloring leaves to put on the table as decorations, collecting rocks on the beach to turn into miniature Plymouth Rocks, and making thankful lists. For each person who was coming, we made thankful lists about them and hung them up so everyone could write on them. Some of Avonlea Jane's reasons were very sweet: "You made my favorite teddy bear." "You take to me to the playground." "You gave me my friend Baby Grace." Some were quite funny: "I'm thankful you have hair and arms." "Every time I see you, I want a cookie."
