We don't have these at our grocery store.
The last time the kids were at Grandma and Grandpa's house, Grandpa pulled Avonlea Jane around on sled. She didn't understand why that couldn't happen without snow . . . Grandpa didn't either.
At Mawmaw's house, Will was introduced to the family kid tradition of drinking Yoohoo on the kitchen step.
He also got to sit in the bear chair.
The kids were not into having their picture taken with Uncle Nick, B.B., or Mawmaw.
Somehow, Aunt Tori and Uncle John were able to tame them.
We loved getting a chance to see the V family. (Will, Dominic, Milo, Felix, Avonlea Jane, and Xander)
Going to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art
Afterward, we walked around the musuem's outdoor festival, looking at the crafts and listening to the music.
Making a horse necklace for William at the craft tent.
Creating a mask
The kids liked exploring the historic buildings at Spring Mill State Park's Pioneer Village.
The mill still produces its own corn meal.
Avonlea Jane's hat found a new perch on Grandpa's head.
Checking out the gardens with Granpy.
One of the kids liked being in this tree more than the other one.
The creek was a hit with both kids. Will progressively dipped himself until he was in up to his shoulders.
A happy, dripping wet kid
After the creek and Pioneer Village, we went to the Gus Grissom Memorial Museum.
