Escaping the snow

Right before the first big snow, the kids and I fled Massachusetts and drove down to Hilton Head to spend some time with Granny and Granpy. So, while David was shoveling snow, the kids were shoveling sand.

There were herons all over on our trip.

The kids became Junior Rangers at Fort Moutrie on Sullivan's Island.

They did all their ranger work with Granny and Granpy while I went to pick up Daddy from the airport. He had been convinced to escape the snow with us.
