One of the first things we did once I came back home was to take one of our neighbor Karen's Salem Food Tours. The tour took us from the kitchens at Phillips House to different food vendors and restaurants across Salem.
A cheese tasting at Milk and Honey
Heading to The Lobster Shanty
Tasting spice blends at The Pickle Pot

I also drove down to Pawtucket, Rhode Island to have lunch with Michaela and catch up.
We drove to Cleveland to pick up the kids from the their visit to the Midwest. Once home, they jumped right back into Salem life.
We took them to a kids' music event at the library, where they do a Thursday summer series.
We didn't stay long, as it was a bit too much noise for Will.
The kids were super excited to go to Barnes and Noble to a special Frozen event. The store billed the event as a chance to come meet Olaf. The place was packed with over 100 excited kids chanting for Olaf.
It turned out that the Olaf to meet was a cardboard cut-out. We went home with two sad kids. #NOlaf

William insisted on being a tiger.
His sister wanted a dolphin.
Tigers must be hard to paint.
Not exactly a tiger
