Making mosaic tiles at the PEM
Someone did not want to leave.
We periodically host either the adult or children's fellowship after church on Sundays, and we always like to do something thematic. We've done Epiphany (with spiced and golden foods), Back to School (with a school supply centerpieces and school lunch foods), and St. Nicholas Day around the world. On May 4, we did a Star Wars-themed "May the Fourth be with you" table for the kids' room. In the above photo, pay no attention to the fact that the sign says "Please recycle your Hans Solo cups" instead of Han Solo.

The table was a big hit. We knew for sure it was successful when teens were taking cellphone photos of it and posting pics of it on Facebook.
School day
Avonlea Jane got a couple bags of hand-me-downs from a girl across the street, and this cheetah costume was one of the items. We were heading to celebrate Megan's birthday/Mother's Day, and A insisted as going as a cheetah.
