We are very pleased to announce that we are having one baby. Only one baby. One giant baby. The source of the twin suspicion was two-fold. First, my womb is apparently providing deluxe 5-star accommodations. Plus, I am apparently incubating Shaquille O'Neal. The baby is five days taller/longer than the average baby at this point, which is surprisingly a sizable amount. The ultrasound experience as a whole was certainly interesting (and perhaps a little oddly voyeuristic). It was difficult to take images of the baby or measure the heartbeat, because it wouldn't stop moving and flipping around. We were able to get some fuzzy still images, but the moving images were detailed enough that we could see toes. In the posted pic you can see the two feet at the bottom--the knees are drawn up--one of the arms, and if you look closely at the face, the outline of the eyes, nose, and mouth.

It would appear that our precious grandbaby has Gerber-baby cheeks already! Love that!!
Beautiful! Such a beautiful little one already. Congrats again to both of you... and thank you for feeding my baby blog obsession.
And by the way... thanks so much for the blog dedication. I'm so glad you guys are doing this. I love looking back at my pregnancy, birth experience, and N's early days via the blog. I hope you guys get as much out of it as I have. You are to sweet to mention me in your Profile. Take care!
Thank god it's not a cat baby.
Be careful with the rapidly growing superbaby. Congress will probably call it in to testify in regards to steroid use in the womb.
Congratulations, Radues!
