Not a lot has happened in the span of a week. The baby is now around 12 oz. and 10.5" long. It will also now have eyebrows (a great development in our opinion). It is also possible for the baby to open its eyelids now. Our little one's movements are also getting stronger/more forceful by the day, but David still hasn't had the opportunity to feel them.
Other cool things: I discovered the website http://www.howmanyofme.com/, where you can plug in your name and see how many people in the U.S. have your exact name. For example, there is only one person in the U.S. named Roger R, but there are 203 people named Travis C. I am the only Olivia R, and there are 5 David R (one of the other ones lives in Boston). And, there are 396 Rs in the U.S. period.
Also, our CSA started tonight, and we were super excited for the fresh organic produce. One of the most interesting aspects is that every week it is a surprise what you are getting. This week we received: green leaf lettuce, red kale (which is going to be turned into kale-berry smoothies this week for breakfast), mustard greens, collard greens (we made them tonight: yum), strawberries, zucchini (which we put into chocolate zucchini bread), a potted thyme plant, and cilantro (yuck: it's right up there with pine nuts and capers). We were a little surprised to get four different types of greens this week, especially mustard and collard at the same time. Regardless, we are certainly looking forward to our weekly surprise shipments and all the new combos we'll get to try.
And, we found out that the doctor/homeopath we were crossing our fingers for in Danvers is accepting new infant patients. At around month eight we're going to schedule a consultation with him as well as with another AP-friendly doctor we are considering in Beverly. They're both family practioners so we would ideally like to find someone we would considering going to for our medical needs as well.
