For the next week or so, we foresee the trend of posts with very little text but with lots of pictures. We're sure you won't mind. This weekend Avonlea Jane met her first family members: both sets of grandparents and Uncle Dillon. They all thought she was just as cute as we did.

And, just for good measure, here is a picture of Mabel after she got a face full of pollen when nosing around in a floral arrangement from Uncle Jeff and Aunt Hubbell.

She's absolutely beautiful, Liv. Congrats to you both!
Comment from a random MDC'er who read your birth story and followed the link to your blog...
Be careful with the flower arrangements and cats... Lillies are VERY toxic! Not all lillies, but I know for sure Easter Lillies and I think star gazer lillies. I think day lillies are not, but I never risk it. It is a shame because they end up in many flower arrangements.
If it has been more than a week and your kitty is acting fine, then I probably wouldn't worry. To be safe, you could have the vet check the kitty's kidney values.
Bleh, I don't mean to be a kill-joy, but thought I should warn you.
BTW, your baby is beautiful!
