Indiana, Part 5

When we were in Indiana, we were lucky enough to see the V. family, who also had a brand new baby.

This is Liv with new baby Felix. He has the cutest cheeks and is certainly a big baby. However, he is only two days older than Avonlea Jane.

Dominic trying on David's hat. Look at those ears! Too cute.

They don't seem too impressed with each other.
When we were in Indiana, Avonlea Jane had her first bit of monkey-see-monkey-do. Grandma C was sticking her tongue out, and Avi tried to copy her. This video doesn't do it justice though, as we only caught the tail end.

As a note, we just received in the mail from Mawmaw a baby scale which will really come in handy. Now we don't have to take Avonlea Jane to the post office to have her weighed. : ) She currently weighs 10 pounds, 11 ounces--putting her at 2 pounds, 8 ounces over her birth weight, right on target for a breastfed baby (don't trust most growth charts, as they are calculated for formula-fed babies).
