Happy Easter

We hope everyone had a happy Easter. After mass (which Avonlea Jane slept through--the entire thing!), we enjoyed the holiday with our friends Ian and Brittany and her mother, Wendy. The Easter Bunny was very generous this year and came not only to our house but by post and to Ian and Brittany's house as well. Sunday's weather was certainly bright, but it was a brisk 38 degrees. We're ready for the changing temperatures and April showers to make way for May flowers.

Here is Avonlea Jane after a bath on a warm day--a rare occurrence. Our house is so cold most of the time, that we don't submerge her in water very often, but just bathe her with a wet washcloth. While she is certainly cleaner than a medieval baby, she's probably neck and neck with a Victorian baby. Oy.

Canadian story time. This picture was taken for a class project on Canadian books; thank goodness our family just happens to own Canadian apparel.

Our baby girls

On Saturday, we took Avonlea Jane to go see some bunnies before Easter. She reached right out to pet them.

At mass, more than one person said our baby looked like an Anne Geddes model.
