Busy days

To celebrate the first week after school let out, the first thing we did was head to the beach.

The kids are at a perfect beach age. Will just loves to play in the sand, and it isn't crazy about getting in the water, so we don't have to keep an eye on him every second. Avonlea Jane likes getting in the water, but doesn't like to get in over her knees.

When Avonlea Jane came running back from her trip into the waves, she gave our section of the beach a real laugh when she yelled out, "I went pee! I went pee in the ocean!" Of course, everyone already knew that because when she went in the water, she pulled her swim suit bottom down first. Subtlety will be a lesson for another day.

Coming to bury Mommy's feet

After our Wednesday Spanish class, we headed to the children's garden at Long Hill.
