After a long day in D.C. and hours spent in the car to get to New Jersey, Will slept in for hours at Brandy's house, having moved to the floor at some point in the night.
We were only spending a few days at her house, but Will wanted to decorate his room there with art.
This is just to prove that we did indeed actually see Brandy while staying at her house. Ignore the fact that it's an unflattering photo of both of us.
After a very lovely visit, we drove north to visit the New England Carousel Museum in Connecticut, as carousels are one of our favorite things.
The museum has carousel animals of all types and sizes as well as a baby carousel and a full-sized one. While we were there, the full carousel was being repaired, and Will was heartbroken that he couldn't ride it. Thankfully, they had a map of carousels across New England, so we were off to Hartford to rectify the baby's bad day.
When I parked in downtown Hartford, Will had no idea why we were stopping. We were supposed to be on our way to Sturbridge, Massachusetts to meet Daddy at a camp ground.
He was still so upset.
It wasn't until we reached the carousel pavilion that he understood.
Mommy is quite the heroine.
Once our carousel adventure was over, we drove to Sturbridge, where we were meeting Daddy, Leticia, Robert, Taran, and Finn to go camping for the weekend. While we set up tents, the boys were the Three Musketeers.
Everyone took turns telling scary stories around the campfire after roasting marshmallows.
