Boston Public Gardens

As of the end of this week, I am finally done with school.

I'm done. I'm done. I'm done.

Did I mention I'm done? It is a relief to finally be done with my degree, but it is a little odd to think that I am done being a student. Looking back, I am in a daze as to how I completed the semester. It is rather like road amnesia, when you are so tired, and you get home having no memory of how you got there. I have no idea how I managed to accomplish everything while taking care of a baby. I have to say that I am most proud of being able to feed Avonlea Jane the whole time I was away at class. Pumping took more dedication and time management than either of my degrees. I am in absolute awe of mothers who are able to do it full time.

This weekend we decided to enjoy the nice weather by going downtown to the Public Gardens. When the flowers are in bloom, the gardens are overrun with children and brides being photographed. There was only one bride today, but parents were everywhere taking photos of their little ones, and we were certainly no exception.

Posing babies who don't sit up yet isn't always easy.

Avonlea Jane is sitting on one of the duck statues honoring the book Make Way for Ducklings, which is one of the few books she will sit all the way through.

Gosh, she is such a cutie! I'll tell you Liv... when it comes to parenting, one of the things I'm most proud of is that my son never had a drop of formula. It's huge for me. I'm proud that made it through the semester pumping. I know how hard it is! Cograts on the Masters!

I thought you were done with school...
But however I did manage to see that you got a masters? In what field did you get your masters in? I was never told.
