A brief time in Indiana

We're sorry for the long pause between posts but we've been quite busy. Most of you are aware that my grandmother, Lynne Bissell, passed away a few weeks ago after battling lung cancer. We thank you for your condolences. Her passing was quite a sad occasion, but we were glad in the days that followed to see so many family members, especially those who had never met Avonlea Jane. We spent a week in Indiana before returning home and got to spend a lot of quality time with my mom's extended family from Florida, Wisconsin, and Texas.

Getting a bath at Grandma and Grandpa R's

With Great-grandpa

With Great-great aunt Diana (We decided that great-great is too many words and that "fabulous aunt" is better and easier.)

Mommy and Uncle Dillon being silly

Uncle Dillon, cousin Eric, Fabulous Aunt Sissy, Fabulous Uncle Walt, and cousin Dusty watching Corn Hole

Grandpa C and Daddy playing Corn Hole

The whole family out to dinner

Relaxing in the yard
