We're making recycled crayon hearts, and Avonlea Jane is giving the final approval for the color arrangements.

Avonlea Jane's turn
Making a second print in case the first one wasn't deep enough
Avonlea Jane's two prints and Will's little one (Her hands are so big in comparison to his that they look giant. We honestly Googled images of "toddler hands" to verify she didn't have giant-hand-itis.)
After making their handprints, we walked around town to enjoy the Salem's So Sweet: Chocolate and ice sculpture festival. This is an event we look forward to every February, but unfortunately the weather was really poor this year. With all of the snow and ice, it was a treacherous walk downtown that required us to forgo the sidewalks in several locations and simply walk in the street.

Ordinarily, we like to see all of the sculptures, but with the poor walking conditions, we stopped after seeing a little over half of them.
Thinking about what she would like for lunch
Avonlea Jane is thinking the same thing we always think when when we wait to order at Gulu-Gulu: "Come on, already!"
After her hot chocolate fix (She wasn't thrilled about being photographed: "Don't take a picture Mommy. Wipe my face."
