Cavalia

One of the fun things Will did solo this summer was go to see Cavalia's Odysseo, and outstanding horse and acrobatic show put on by the creators of Cirque du Soleil. This mommy date was a total surprise to him, though he was thrilled to be going anywhere in his horse shoes, with a horse broach, and with Court.

He started to get some ideas the closer we got. "Look at that horse poster! Look at that horse poster! There's another horsey! Are we going to see horses? Are there horses here?"

When we got inside, he was pretty convinced we were going to see a horse.

We were really fortunate in our seats, as all of the Boston shows sold out, and we got the very last ticket for this one.

We weren't able to take any photos during the show, but this highlight reel is of the show. All of the show aspects--the music, the riders, the horses, the acrobat--were phenomenal, and Will was blown away.

It was a good thing we brought Court. There were far more adults than children at the show, which was to be expected with the hefty ticket price, but not a single child left the show--not a single one--left the show without a stuffed horse in their hands. It was excellent foresight to bring our own horse rather than to pay gift shop prices for one on the way out.
