Halibut Point

Perhaps our favorite place in Massachusetts is Halibut Point. We like to take the kids every season, and both of them have been taken in balmy 30-degree weather, so going when it's nice is an extra treat.

This was the first time they both went to the top of the old WWII lookout tower.

Halibut Point isn't named after the fish, but because sailors would declare it was one "hellofa" point to steer around.

Exploring tide pools

Both kids passed out in the car after hiking the rocks.
