At this point, posts should go without saying that there is quite a back log. Here we are at the tail end of March. On the weekend on David's birthday, we joined Megan/Geoff and Andrew/Louise for a weekend away in Manchester, Vermont. We stayed in Geoff's aunt and uncle's house while they were out of town.
The tail end of March had a significant amount of snow in Vermont, enough to break out the sled.

Outside of a local bookstore, there was a stone walkway engraved with: Nothing is written in stone.
An interesting memorial to Thomas Jefferson

Megan and Amelia stayed inside with the sleeping big kids
Before we got the great idea to sled down the hill in the rain
Andrew was first up. The trip down was fun; it was the climb back up that was brutal.
Back in the warm water
David showed us how it was done. Everyone took at least one go at it.

Geoff's cousin was one of this year's Olympic medalists.
There were several covered bridges on the way home.
On our drive from Western Mass., we stopped at few 1000 places to see. In Northfield (aka Middle of Nowhere), we saw the Schell Memorial Bridge, Main Street, Route 63, and Notch Mountain.

If you're ever driving in the middle of nowhere, you can probably skip this 1000 Place.
Petersham historic district
We also saw the Crumpin-Fox Golf Club of Bernardston. This were some lacking places, but we did cross off seven on our drive home.
