A day with Uncle Dillon

I've been taking an end-of-the-summer online break, so our vacation photos have taken a while longer to post. 

On one of our first days on vacation, we went to visit Dillon at work, leaving the kids to spend the day at a small water park with Granny and Granpy. 

Before his afternoon flight, we were able to have a short tour of NAS-JAX.

Dillon accidentally left his glasses in the car, which meant we all had to have some fun trying them on. We did not, however, e-mail them to his CO as we had joked. 

Despite our efforts, none of us looked as good in them as Dillon. 

When we got back, the kids had had a great time splashing the day away and were ready to just play at the house.

One of the best parts of the house we were renting was the fun play castle outside.

In the evening, we walked downtown to find some of the Tree Spirits around St. Simon's Island. The spirits has been carved over the last couple decades by Keith Jennings. We weren't able to find all of them on the island, but we did find a few.
